Jaeger-LeCoultre designers who gave birth to this exquisite decorative art in one hand, hope to pass the two famous series of Jaeger-LeCoultre & mdash; & mdash; Master Minute Repeater Minute Repeater Watch and Master Grand Tourbillon Show off his amazing talents. These two collections embody two traditional techniques of enamel painting: high temperature baking and inlaid enamel.
At the end of the 18th century, the pursuit of perfection and attention to detail prompted the enamel masters in Geneva to create ‘colorless transparent underglaze paintings’. This perfect invention in the history of enamel micropainting is known for its precision and long-lasting charming appearance of artistic creation. By using a typical Geneva enamel micro-painting process, Jaeger-LeCoultre experts have recreated a long-established high-quality enamel micro-painted decorative watch. As early as the reign of Louis XIV, enamel painters and micro-painters began to combine their respective strengths to create increasingly sophisticated watches. Portrait paintings and charming country landscape paintings in the style of French painter Huatto are used to decorate the watch case and surface.
Eros & mdash; & mdash; Master Minute Repeater
展示 In order to show the amazing superb technology, Jaeger-LeCoultre chose one of the four classic paintings as the theme of Eros Venus as the theme to decorate the dial of the Master Minute Repeater minute repeater watch. The inspiration for this creation comes from many aspects, with the Italian Renaissance, the Spanish Academy, and French Classicism as the core. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s enamel painters chose the typical images as creative inspirations, including Botticelli’s ‘The Birth of Venus’ (The Birth of Venus), Titian’s ‘Ulby’ The Venus of Urbino (The Venus of Urbino), the Venus of the Velasquez (Rokeby Venus), and the Angel of the Angles Venus Anadyom & egrave; ne).
Time-honored technology continues to perfect
In order to maintain the eternal beauty of these world-famous masterpieces, Jaeger-LeCoultre artists use their advanced technology to reinterpret their essence in the workshop and give them depth. In fact, the enamel layer is fired layer by layer, showing a depth and density of magical effect. Just turn the watch gently under the light to discover the rich color difference. Subtle differences in color are revealed through the bright layer of enamel.
Every micro-painted work is the result of long-term craftsmanship. At the beginning, multiple transparent white enamel layers were repeatedly applied as a bright background, and then different oxide metal pigments were added to the enamel background to produce a series of rich shades. The enamel with brilliant colors is drawn with a quill pen or a very fine brush, and then the enamel is baked multiple times until the desired color effect is achieved. The final success of a masterpiece depends on whether the contour is fine and clear. Each step of baking is performed at high temperature (between 800 and 850 degrees). Roasting is one of the most risky steps in the molding process. This is the high temperature baking enamel technology.
Weihua enamel works are the rarest and most precious of all painting arts. To complete such a small piece of work requires weeks of highly concentrated craftsmanship, patience, meticulousness and flexible fingering, as well as knowing how to control time. In this way, the production of a dial takes 80 to 150 hours.
Tribute to great discoveries: Master Grand Tourbillon Continents tourbillon
Modern enamel technology began at the end of the 15th century, and in the most turbulent period in the history of European civilization, the fine enamel technology has experienced the most brilliant moments. It was during that time that Spanish and Portuguese navigators began long journeys and adventures to explore areas that were still not fully understood at the time. 500 years have passed, and the Jaeger-LeCoultre watch factory hopes to celebrate the breakthrough perspective of people’s world view through enamel painting techniques and commemorate the discovery of the natural phenomenon that the earth is round. For this reason, Jaeger-LeCoultre launched three Master Grand Tourbillon tourbillon watches, which used enamel technology to show on the dial the appearance of a series of continents of our planet.
This is a patient test for the craftsmen. After repeated roasting, the borders of different countries and the contours of the continent gradually appear on the dial. Each Master Grand Tourbillon watch represents one of three continents: Asia and Australia-Americas-a continent of Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Obviously, this extremely accurate masterpiece cannot be mass produced, especially the Master Grand Tourbillon tourbillon watch, which has always been strictly limited. Each of these three versions produces only twenty platinum, twenty rose, and twenty gold versions, each with a sapphire crystal caseback, showing another product paired with them.
